Workshops
OPC UA, recommended by Industry 4.0, is now attracting worldwide attention, and Microsoft has also announced its support for it at the Hannover Messe fair. This workshop aims to enhance the basic knowledge to support OPC UA development, implement Open62541( server) which is the open source of OPC UA on Raspberry Pi, implement actual connection, verify and learn how OPC UA works.
IoT TECHNOLOGY for INDUSTRY
The biggest challenge in realizing Industry 4.0 was "standardization". In particular, industrial equipment often relies on proprietary standards for communication, and it has been difficult to link these standards with IT systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and others. OPC UA, which is versatile and flexible enough to solve these problems, has been adopted as the central communication protocol in the IoT era.
What is OPC UA?
OPC UA is a highly scalable "standardized" platform-independent next-generation OPC communication standard that dramatically improves security and data exchange while inheriting the advantages of OPC Classic.

Development of OPC UA

PRODUCTS
We are working on UA Monitor, an Excel add-on OPC UA client that uses OPC UA communication, a communication standard required by Industry 4.0, to safely and securely exchange data with an OPC UA server.
OPC UA
OPC UA has undergone security evaluations by the Federal Information Security Agency (BSI) in Germany, which recommends Industry 4.0, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States, and has been objectively and highly evaluated for its security. Major private security-related companies have also conducted OPC UA evaluations.
UA Monitor
UA Monitor is an OPC UA client software that exchanges data with OPC UA server directly via Microsoft's Excel. After connecting with the OPC UA server, work can be easily and freely done in the familiar EXCEL program.
UA Recorder
UA Recorder functions as a permanent agent on the PC, exchanging data with the OPC UA server for easy retrieval and output to text and databases.
Client CORE
We provide the OPC UA part of UA Monitor and UA Recorder as a module (dll). It is easy to prepare original OPC UA client software by incorporating high quality OPC UA client communication module into in-house application.
